In short

KIN HomeCare sends a licensed physiotherapist to assess, set goals and deliver rehabilitation in your home, 50–60 minutes per session. A session is THB 1,800 (first session THB 1,500); packages are 10 sessions for THB 15,000, 20 for THB 29,000 and 30 for THB 42,000. The 10-, 20- and 30-session packages bought by 31 December 2026 include 1, 2 and 3 free aquatic treadmill sessions respectively, used at KIN Ladprao 71 (Soi Nakniwat 18). Travel is free within Bangkok and the surrounding provinces, and a therapist is assigned within 24–48 hours. Call 061-881-9399.

Why training in the real home differs from a therapy room

Practising in the environment that matters

Walking the actual route from bed to bathroom, assessing thresholds, slippery floors and where a grab rail belongs — none of which a therapy room can simulate.

Higher realistic frequency

The strongest predictor of progress is how many sessions actually happen each week. At home this is typically two to five, because nobody has to organise the round trip.

Plans supervised by the medical team

The visiting therapist works under the supervision of our medical and multidisciplinary team, with goals reviewed periodically and telemedicine consultation when the condition changes.

The family is taught to continue daily

Most gains happen outside the therapy hour, so the therapist teaches exercises the family and caregiver can repeat, and sets up the home to be safe.

Progress reported every session

Each session ends with a summary of what was trained and what changed, and the programme is adjusted on actual results rather than repeated unchanged.

Step up to the centre using the same record

If hydrotherapy or specialised equipment becomes the right next step, you move into our clinic or rehabilitation centre without starting the assessment over.

At home vs clinic visits vs residential rehabilitation

There is no single right answer. The fit depends on whether travel is feasible, how intensive the programme needs to be, and whether specialised equipment is required.

Leadership

Who is responsible for physiotherapy at home

The physiotherapists who visit your home follow programmes built on KIN's rehabilitation standards — set by a rehabilitation physician, with a physiotherapy manager directly responsible for the quality of the work.

How it works

  1. 01

    Book and describe the condition

Call 061-881-9399 or message on LINE with the condition, time since onset and the goal — walking indoors unaided, or getting out of bed independently.

  2. 02

    Assess and set measurable goals

In the first visit the therapist assesses function and fall risk in the actual home, then sets staged, measurable goals rather than applying a template programme.

  3. 03

    Train on an individual programme

Each 50–60 minute session covers gait and balance, joint mobility to prevent contracture, daily-living retraining, and hand or cognitive work with an occupational therapist where needed.

  4. 04

    Report and adjust

The family gets a summary after every session, exercises to continue between visits, and a programme adjusted to real progress — with referral into the centre when that becomes the right step.

Frequently asked questions

How much is home physiotherapy?

THB 1,800 per session, with a first-session trial at THB 1,500 until 31 December 2026. Packages: 10 sessions THB 15,000 (~1,500 each), 20 sessions THB 29,000 (~1,450 each), 30 sessions THB 42,000 (~1,400 each). The 10-, 20- and 30-session packages bought by 31 December 2026 include 1, 2 and 3 free aquatic treadmill sessions respectively, used at KIN Ladprao 71 (Soi Nakniwat 18) with a physiotherapist in the water; gift sessions are valid for 3 months from your first home physiotherapy session, and please call to book at least 1 day ahead. Travel is free within Bangkok and the surrounding provinces.

When and how often should stroke rehabilitation start at home?

Start as soon as the doctor says it is safe — usually right after discharge, without waiting for the condition to fully settle. The first six months are when the brain rewires best, and waiting leads to muscle wasting and joint stiffness that then need extra work to reverse. Two to five sessions a week is the usual range, depending on the patient.

Home or clinic — which should I choose?

The deciding factor is how many sessions actually happen each week. Home training usually happens more often because there is no round trip, and it uses the environment the patient really lives in. A clinic makes sense when specialised equipment that cannot travel is needed.

Are the therapists licensed?

Yes — they hold a Thai physiotherapy licence. Where hand-function or cognitive training is required, an occupational therapist attends instead, and every care plan is supervised by our medical and multidisciplinary team.

Is post-surgical rehabilitation possible at home?

Yes, but it must follow the surgeon's protocol — the permitted range of motion each week and the allowed weight-bearing. Have the operative summary or the surgeon's instructions ready for the first visit so the programme stays inside safe limits.

How soon can sessions start?

Usually within 24–48 hours of booking, depending on the area and the therapists' schedules there. If you already know the discharge date, tell us in advance so we can hold a slot.

Free consultation, no obligation

Tell us the situation and we will help you work out which service fits, how often it is needed and what it will actually cost — before you commit to anything.
